Only ACTION creates clarity in today’s online world.

One of the things I find common in this industry…heck I do it myself more often than I care to admit, is the feeling that there’s just one thing, just one more course or plugin or widget that I need before I can really launch myself and my business and start PRODUCING…whether that means generating leads, prospecting or developing content.

We get stuck in the mire of trying to “perfect” the system, or the article or whatever it is we’re using as an excuse to NOT be productive.

I’ve also noticed that people…me included, have the tendency to compare their work with that of others and feeling inadequate or short handed. You look at John Chow’s blog or Katie Freiling’s blog and you start thinking that you need a better blog, a better theme, a better layout or whatever else makes you feel insecure about your own blog at the time. Or you may look at someone who’s written articles and notice that they are eloquent and written in a style you feel you could never match..so you embark on a distracting  journey to improve your vocabulary and writing skills.

While it’s not a crime to want to improve yourself in all these manners, honestly, I’ve come to admit to myself that this is just a sign of both insecurity and laziness. It’s Retarded

It’s so much easier….and funner to read ebooks, blog posts and fiddle around with widgets and plugins than it is to actually WORK to PRODUCE content or videos or call up people on the phone (the flesh and blood kind of people.) We the Network and online marketers will distract ourselves with mundane and minutia CRAP we believe we have to take care of ..first… before we do the things that produce income.

Today, I unsubscribed from every email list I’m on..except the Online MLM Mastermind (since it’s the only one I’m using). No more Belcher, Marshall, Kern, Rocket, Dillard, Marion, Schefren, Keonigs, Ryan and Kyle and a host of other gurus who all scream at me on a daily basis …buy this, you need that, gotta have this.

It is not the reflection, the reviewing, and the studying that will make things clearer. In
actuality, it will make things increasingly unclear because there is so much information out
there. There is so much confusing and conflicting information about different approaches.
This guru says never use a squeeze page. The next guru says always use a squeeze page.
This guru says always use Tahoma font for your headline and the next guru says, never use
Tahoma; use Helvetica.
How do you know who’s right, who’s wrong and most importantly, what will work best for
you?
The only way that you can know is through taking action; TESTING the new idea, learning

I can say for sure that I have enough information and I have enough tools to build a multi million dollar empire if I focus and WORK. After all, I’ve put in the hours…long endless hours and invested thousands of dollars to further my education in network/online marketing.  At some point, one has to tell the world to  Sht the Fck Up and get to work.

So, the thought for today is this. If all you had is what you know now, and there was no other tool, gadget, course, manual, widget, plugin or “secret” available..ever again, how would you go creating the kind of success you desire?

Once I answered that question, the mind cleared up, the fog lifted and the lights came on. I have real WORK to do. How about you?
